Java environment variable setting up

You can set path in two ways.

  1. Permanent
  2. Temporary

 

Steps to set java environment variable path in windows

step 1: Right click on my computer and open Properties

step 2: Click on advanced system setting.

 

step 3: Now click on environment variable

step 4: Under System Variable Find path and click on edit and paste your JDK bin path

step 5: copy your java JDK bin path.

step 6:  Paste your JDK bin path.

click-ok

 

Now You successfully set java Environment variable.

step 7:  Check whether Environment variable path set correctly or not open cmd and type javac

2. Temporary : Steps to set path temporary

  1.  Open cmd
  2.  Copy the path of jdk/bin directory
    Eg. in My case copied path C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.8.0_25\bin
  3. Type command in cmd

set path=C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.8.0_25\bin
