eLitmus pH Test Examination Pattern

The eLitmus pH Test Examination Pattern is divided in three sections :

1. Quantitative Aptitude(Maths)
2. Problem Solving (Reasoning and Data Interpretation)
3. Verbal Ability(English)

Quantitative Aptitude section

This section consists of 20 questions. Following are the important topics for QA sections.

• Time and Distance
• Time and Work
• Number System
• Permutation and Combinations
• Probability
• Geometry
• Mensuration
• Algebra

Note : Around 12 – 15 questions will be there from above mentioned topics. If you are able to solve 5 to 7 question correctly, that will lead you to a better score in this section(90 + percentile).

Problem Solving section

This section also consists of 20 questions. Below are the topics for this sections.

• Logical Reasoning-1   ->       5 Questions
• Logical Reasoning-2   ->       3 Questions
• Data Sufficiency   ->              4 Questions
• Data Interpretation   ->        5 Questions
• Cryptarithmetic   ->              3 Questions

NoteIn this section, if you are able to solve 5 to 8 question correctly, that will lead you to a better score(90 + percentile).

Verbal Ability section

Consists of 20 questions. Below are the topics for this sections.

• Reading Comprehension 1                         -> 4 Questions
• Reading Comprehension 2                         -> 4 Questions
• Reading Comprehension 3                         -> 4 Questions
• Sentence Completion 1 (based on subject verb agreement)       -> 4 Questions
• Sentence Completion 2 (based on vocabulary)                              -> 2 Questions
• Para Jumbles                                                                                          -> 2 Questions

NoteIn this section, if you are able to solve 10 to 12 question correctly, that will lead you to a better score(90 + percentile).

Marking scheme of pH Test

• Each 3 section consists of 20 questions.
• Each questions carries 10 Marks.
• Hence the total marks for pH Test is 600. 200 for each sections.
• There is negative marking if you will solve more than 25% wrong answers.
